I saw elsewhere it's best to ground every device on the trailer to a copper wire that's grounded to the vehicle in several spots and also to the front connection where the plug connects.

I have to do this, and also figure out why I turn my lights on the 2005 Yukon, and it's in Park, my RV brakes turn on also.

I have a Thill float, about 2.5" egg shaped, with a notch in the bottom that is covered with rubber tubing (no spring) to keep the line in place, I am just wondering if you just would secure the line in the notch only, or would you also secure at the top of the float with another piece of rubber tubing? Thanks

You want to see something shocking. If you still have an older stroke lower the leg amd prop into a large clean garbage container.. fill it with water then start the engine and let it run for 10 min or so. Stop engine then let it sit for awhile.. bout the time jt takes to have a beer.. Then take a look at the water.. 2 strokes are notorious for spewing oil and unburned gas. You'll see it on the water.. When I did that with my older 40 horse I was shocked.. water had oil and gas sheen all over it. got rid of it that season. It was filthy.

I have found that my issue is a grounding issue. When I stick a nail between the receiver and hitch my lights work. Any idea how I should proceed? (Using a different vehicle trailer lights work fine) Thanks in advance! FWJ

I never really gave these a second thought before I bought our camp which I’m only at every so often. My inverter generator is remote start & quiet, but I still don’t want to hear it all the time when I only need to charge a few devices, power a couple LED lights, or watch tv like you mentioned. I can’t justify a full solar setup so I’m thinking one of these would be about perfect.

People think you can check to see if the water pump is working with muffs. You cant. The garden hose will push water through a smoked waterpump impeller and simulate a working water pump. Water test or barrel test is the right way. You want to see the motor suck up the water on its own. Water forced through means nothing!

Howdy from NE Texas at Lake Palestine (pronounced here Pal-es-teen down here). My DH and I went kayak fishing Sunday and caught a mess of blue gill and small catfish. Just perfect for fish tacos. We prefer fishing for panfish and smaller catfish, as we love fish tacos. We're both in our 70 (I'm 72 and he's 78) and still love kayaking. It helps keep us young. Tight lines all.

Use to love going to our deer camp, which was just a leased campsite, and taking care of the grass and trimming. It was so much fun. We opened the campers to let them air out, we would spend the whole day there at camp. Since loosing the campsite we really don't have a deer camp anymore. Well, it is a portable deer camp. Now we pull a camper to the mountain to hunt, but I miss having a deer camp. We had ours for 26 years and it was so much fun. Sure wish my father-in-law and I would have found a place to buy to make a good deer camp. That action camera mount is awesome. I have used the hat mount and I have the chest harness rig, but I can see so much uses for that mount. Thanks for sharing your time at camp and about the action camera mount. Juddie - J & J TOA
